Walking wheels

öff öff moves multi-dimensionally on the floor as well. The walking wheels (idea by Mirella Weingarten, Berlin) allow the artists to move using the wheels as legs. Through the smallest transfer of weight of the body strapped into it, the wheel starts turning. The artist “swims”, turning around the axis within the big cage of the wheel. A challenging interplay between the wheel and the human, the weight and gravity starts.
