Nicole Voyat | Management

Born in Switzerland, currently living in Bern. Professional dance education in classical ballet and modern jazz dance in Bern, Zurich, Paris, Nice and New York. Nicole has an MA in sports science, specializing in dance and psychology. She also has a degree in cultural management from SAWI. Most recently, she completed a MA program at the University of Bern in theater and dance studies.

Founder and director of her own dance school since 1996: Tanz atelier NiVo. Artistic director of Dance Company L.E.S., which has shown nine productions since 1986, and of the youth dance group Cie Encore 1x, which has shown seven productions since 1996. Nicole is politically active in the campaign to recognize dance oficially as a profession and to improve the status of dance as an art form.

Since 2002 Nicole has been a member of various local and national associations, organizing festivals for TAP (Tanz Active Platform Bern), serving as a board member and administrator for SVTC (Swiss Association of Dancers and Choreographers), and as a delegate to Danse Suisse (the national professional dance association).

Nicole has been working with öff öff since 2009.
